No. A container on your own driveway or private property needs no permit anywhere in Polk County. A permit is only required when the container sits on a public street, sidewalk or right-of-way. We quote one flat rate that includes delivery, pickup and 3 tons (20-yard), 4 tons (30-yard) or 6 tons (40-yard) of disposal. Overage is billed at the Polk County landfill rate, $46 per ton for construction debris as of October 2025. A 20-yard for most single-layer residential roofs up to about 30–40 squares. Shingles are heavy — roughly 250 lb per square for three-tab and up to 400 lb for architectural — so a 30-square roof is 4–6 tons, and we quote the weight up front rather than surprising you at the scale. Two layers or a large roof may need a 30-yard or a swap-out.

A 20-yard. Cabinets, countertops, flooring, drywall and appliances from a typical kitchen come to 2–4 pickup-truck loads, well inside a 20-yard's 7–8 load capacity. A whole-house remodel moves up to a 30-yard.

3 tons in a 20-yard, 4 tons in a 30-yard, 6 tons in a 40-yard. Concrete, brick, dirt and shingles are dense — concrete weighs about 2 tons per cubic yard — so those loads are capped by weight and go in a dedicated 20-yard heavy container filled to a lower line. Same day for Lakeland, Mulberry, Bartow, Auburndale, Winter Haven and Plant City when you book before noon. Haines City, Lake Wales, Davenport and Tampa are usually next morning. We run our own truck, so there is no third-party dispatch queue.

Not on our deliveries. Heavy wooden boards go under the wheels and rails before the container is set down, so steel never touches concrete, pavers or asphalt. It is standard on every job.

The rental period is set when you book and can be extended by the day — just call before the scheduled pickup. Extra days are inexpensive; a second delivery is not, so tell us if the job might run long.

Batteries, wet paint, tires, hazardous chemicals, flammable liquids, asbestos, propane tanks, Freon appliances, fluorescent bulbs, medical waste and any bulk liquid. Yes, in a dedicated 20-yard concrete load only. Because concrete weighs about 2 tons per cubic yard, a 20-yard container is loaded to roughly 10 tons — the legal road limit — not to the rim. Concrete never goes in a 30 or 40-yard; a larger container of concrete would be too heavy to move legally. Mixing concrete with light debris almost always produces an overweight bill, so order the concrete load separately.

Yes. Our crew comes to the property, gives you a walk-through price, loads everything and hauls it. It is often cheaper than a container for one or two pickup loads and always easier. See junk removal.

Yes. We own the excavator and the 40-yard containers, so teardown, haul-off and site clearing are one crew. Polk County requires a demolition permit, a sewer-cap or septic-abandonment step first, and a notarized owner authorization; we walk you through it. Details in the demolition guide.

Yes — limbs, logs, fence panels, roofing and soaked drywall. Green waste is bulky, so a 30 or 40-yard is usual. During a declared storm event, county debris rules and pickup schedules change; call and we will tell you the fastest legal route for your pile.

Polk County's North Central Landfill and permitted construction-and-demolition facilities. Clean concrete is routed for recycling where accepted, and Freon appliances go to a certified recycler. Tampa jobs use Hillsborough County facilities.

Yes. Dumpster Rental King LLC carries general liability insurance and holds DOT and MC registration; the driver is CDL-licensed. A certificate of insurance is available on request for commercial and HOA jobs.
