These terms apply to every dumpster rental, junk removal, demolition and hauling job we perform. Booking a job by phone, text, form or in person means you accept them.
1. Quotes and pricing
- A quote is a flat rate for the container size, delivery, pickup and the included tonnage stated (3 tons for 20-yard, 4 tons for 30-yard, 6 tons for 40-yard unless stated otherwise). Junk removal and demolition are quoted after a walk-through or photos.
- Quotes are valid for 14 days and assume the address, access and material described to us are accurate.
- Weight above the included tonnage is billed per ton at the disposal facility's current rate, rounded to the nearest tenth of a ton, based on the facility's scale ticket.
- Additional charges apply only for: overage tonnage; extra rental days you request; prohibited or rejected materials; a dry run when the container cannot be delivered or collected for a reason within your control (blocked access, vehicles in the spot, overfilled or unsafe load).
2. Placement and site
- You choose the spot and confirm you have the right to place a container there. Placement on a public street or right-of-way requires a permit from the city or county, which you obtain unless we agree in writing to handle it.
- We place protective boards under the container on every delivery. You acknowledge that a loaded roll-off is heavy and that we are not responsible for damage to driveways, pavers, septic systems, sprinkler lines, utilities or landscaping in the delivery path you designate, except where caused by our negligence.
- Keep the delivery path clear: roughly 60 feet of straight approach and 20 feet of overhead clearance for the truck.
3. Loading
- Load level with the top rail. Overfilled containers cannot be tarped or legally transported and will not be collected until corrected.
- No prohibited items. The current list is at /permitted-waste. If a facility rejects or surcharges a load because of prohibited material, the cost and any return trip are billed to you.
- Concrete, brick, block, dirt, sand and roofing must go in a dedicated 20-yard heavy load quoted as such and filled to the line we mark. Concrete is not accepted in 30 or 40-yard containers.
- Do not move the container. Do not place it on the container's doors or use it to store anything but debris.
4. Rental period and extensions
The rental period is agreed at booking. Extensions are available by the day and must be requested before the scheduled pickup. Containers left beyond the agreed period without an extension are billed at the daily rate.
5. Payment
Payment is due at delivery unless you have an approved account. We accept cards, cash and checks. Overage and other post-delivery charges are billed on the scale ticket and due on receipt. Returned checks incur a $35 fee. Past-due balances accrue 1.5% per month and reasonable collection costs.
6. Cancellation and dry runs
Cancel or reschedule at no charge until the truck is dispatched. Once the truck is en route, a dry-run fee applies. Same applies to pickups we cannot complete because of blocked access or an unsafe load.
7. Junk removal and demolition
Labor jobs are quoted on the scope we walk through or see in photos; material scope changes are re-quoted before we proceed. Demolition jobs require the owner's written authorization and all permits before work begins; permit and utility-disconnect timelines are outside our control.
8. Liability
Dumpster Rental King LLC carries general liability insurance. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by weather, road closures, facility closures or other events outside our control.
9. Communications
By providing a phone number you agree we may call or text you about your job. Marketing texts require your separate consent and can be stopped at any time by replying STOP. See the SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Florida law. Venue for any dispute is Polk County, Florida.
